Clear Perception - Seeing that Sings with Spirit

Today we begin our dance with the Clear Perception flower essence and essential oil spray. She practically threw herself off the shelf in readiness to serve when I was inquiring which spray to do next - she knows she is needed and needed she is! We are increasingly faced with a massive volume of information, with much of it conflicting. In these circumstances it becomes imperative that we are able to tune our beings to truth. Clear Perception spray does just that, enhancing our intuitive alignment so we can make decisions that sing with spirit. 

We begin with Queen Anne’s Lace. If we want to be clear we need to be both embodied and intuitively tapped in. These two together equal embodied intuition. Queen Anne’s Lace creates a bridge between these two ways of operating. Allowing us to be connected to our body and the earth as well as be emotionally clear and objective in our spiritual insight and vision. It helps us differentiate between what is intuitive and what is our own material and concentrates our attention on deeper layers of truth or true seeing.

Shasta Daisy says “Hey, are you trying to make a choice and there are too many details to consider? Well I’m your gal! My speciality is the big picture. Synthesizing seemingly disparate parts into an accessible living wholeness is my jam.” This is why she is an essential element to the Clear Perception spray. Shasta Daisy helps us make choices that are truly aligned with our whole being by holding the details in such a way that we are able to gain insight into the broader meanings and larger patterns of our life.

If I could only choose one flower essence to deepen all levels of spiritual perception, Star Tulip would be the one. This flower enhances dreaming, prayer, meditation and all intuitive and psychic abilities. It’s a great support for anyone but especially for folks who feel cut-off from this capacity. Of course, it had to make its way into the Clear Perception spray!

Madia is such a gift and is an anchor for the Clear Perception flower spray especially for the distractible neurospicy among us. It helps with something that so many of us struggle with: distraction, poor concentration and a certain kind of dullness that comes from either over- scrolling or living a life we are trying to avoid. Madia pulls us into our center, honing the field of consciousness so that it is more focused and aligned. It supports the soul to incarnate more fully in the body bringing grounded clarity to our spiritual purpose. 

I’ll admit I have an ulterior motive for you to get connected with the Clear Perception spray - I want a world of people tapped into their embodied intuition. Imagine if we all felt empowered to trust and even expand our sensitivity! Dill flower essence was chosen to be in this formula for just this purpose. Its strong suit is helping us retain our innate sensitivity while also coping with the sensory overwhelm of modern life. It supports our refined and attuned perception to the sense-world helping us collaborate with life in the myriad ways it attempts to guide and communicate with us.

Sometimes I’ll take the Clear Perception spray when I’m awash in something I’m trying to sort out that has multiple elements. I know that the Rabbitbush flower essence has just what I need. Rabbitbrush has a gift of taking all the details and coalescing them into a clear overarching knowing. And it does so like magic, bringing clear and precise awareness of the details while opening to the broader scope of perception to include all possibilities. 

The scent blend of Clear Perception is complex and unusual. It includes the fruity herby Davana, spicy Nutmeg, the sweet woody Palo Santo, sharp Sage and citrusy Pink Grapefruit. What a wild mix- but it works! Just as we must make our way through the vastness and complexities of life to find the clear path, somehow this mix makes magic!

Davana essential oil is unusual in perfumery because its scent evolves differently on each person’s skin. This is one reason why I chose it for the Clear Perception spray - to help us align with our unique way of receiving and perceiving. Another reason is for its ability to open the third eye and align the seeker with divine will. I also think it smells amazing: warm and herbaceous with a hint of fruitiness.

Palo Santo is the next essential oil in the Clear Perception line up and it sure is a heavy hitter. Much more intense than burning its wood, the oil must be used in tiny amounts. Its scent profile is sweet, resinous and woody. Often called “Holy Wood,” it bridges heaven and earth; calling in divine presence while grounding deeply into the body. It supports crown and root chakra alignment, making it ideal for spiritual practice that requires both expansion and steadiness. I find it supportive to quiet the mind and open subtle awareness. I use Palo Santo sparingly out of respect for its sacred origins and the ecological pressures caused by rising demand. Once I’m out of the bottle I have I will rework the formula and no longer include it.

Of course Sage essential oil is in the Clear Perception formula- it holds so many keys- it’s a purifier, truth-teller and boundary holder. It carries deep ancestral wisdom, energetic precision, and fierce clarity. Her scent is sharp, herbaceous and camphorous with a slightly sweet dry warmth. Sage has long held sacred status across cultures as a cleanser of body, mind, and spirit. Plus it stimulates focus and memory, making it an ally in times of fog, indecision, or overthinking. In this formula I use Common Sage (salvia officials). White Sage (Salvia apiana) has been overharvested and commodified in ways that impact its traditional uses in Indigenous ceremony.

Pink Grapefruit was chosen for this formula for its help in clearing the emotional weight of self-judgment, comparison, and shame. It lightens us up from the inside out not by erasing, but by helping us return to an uplifted wholeness within. This essential oil carries the sparkle of sunlit joy with an undercurrent of emotional renewal and embodied vitality. Its scent is bright, sweet, tart, citrusy, and fresh.

I’ve included Nutmeg in the Clear Perception formula for its gift of being an ally at the threshold. It walks the liminal path as an oil for initiation, rebirth, or crossing spiritual thresholds. I use it in dreamwork and visioning and love its scent: spicy, warm and slightly sweet. Its special qualities leaves us feeling protected and emboldened to see beyond our normal range of vision.

As you can see this formula has all the elements needed for clear-seeing. Here are some of my favorite ways to use the Clear Perception spray:

-When I’m facing a big decision and need a little extra support to get clear and stay out of the way
-During times of emotional overwhelm or mental burnout when clear thinking feels difficult and i need a reset
-Before engaging in therapeutic journaling, artwork or personal reflection to gain deeper awareness
- Before a meditation session, divination, or client-work to deepen receptivity to a wider range of consciousness
-During a creative work when trying to “see” a solution, image, or next step in a project
-Before or after any type of healing session to support deeper access
-While supporting a child in learning to trust their instincts or express their inner knowing
